Well happy new year!! And did everyone enjoy their 'leap-second'...?

Seriously, I'm from Manchester (uk), and I have Windows only so I can use Visual studios. I first started on Linux a couple of years ago on the advice of my friend SGAM (also of this group), and since then have been powning him into the floor.

 

So far this year I have drunk:: 1 double whisky, a cup of tea, and a glass of water,.

And I haven't had any sleep this year. :>

 

I programme java C C++ and VB, and PHP, perl and other crappy web-based languages. Java was my first language, and quite frankly I don't care if it is a jit.

 

My first distro was gentoo, and my second was SuSE, and then FC. Since then I've gone back to gentoo on all my boxes, except my work boxes (WNT), and the one which dual boots with W2K.
