You're right, I've to update this page. You need to create a new site
if it isn't configured yet and redirect it permanantly. In
Home-Directory of the unused site click "A redirection to a URL", and
enter the destination, e.g. http://www.example.com$S$Q. No trailing
slash after ".com", coz the path (subdirectory in IIS notation) starts
with a slash. Make sure to pass all URL segments, that is path/file
name ($S), query string ($Q), and fragment identifier (not sure that's
possible in IIS), and check "permanent redirection". Done.
