Really? can you for example download my content now?

http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=Charbax

Does it download .gvi file that progressively downloads in Google Video
Player?

If you try to rag and drop the video file to Gspot software from:
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/gspot252dl.html

Which resolution does it say it is? How big are the files in megabytes
compared to length? = what is the bitrate?

When I log-in to my upload.video.google.com I do see a report of not
only page views (which I assume means the free Flash video starts
streaming) and it also has counted some downloads since Google Video
Store launched..

I am hoping the download of "independant" content is going to be in the
same file format, bitrate, resolution as the "independant" content
provider has provided it to google with the video upload program. I am
hoping even High Definition content will be possible to put up there.
And have Google servers re-encode Standard Resolution DivX Home
Theatre Certified version (480xsomething resolution and 1200kbit/s
would be okay) and ipod/psp versions also why not, and even
playsforsure version.. All this will be great.

Then all I will hope is fast-track for video verification process,
something like instant verification and activation of new uploads for
trusted content providers would be great.

I wonder when the free content downloads will start to be available
only if people pay the small fee on-demand to cover Google's bandwidth
costs. They day bandwidth-on-demand is implemented for all Google Video
downloads, thus I would be able to set a few % of the payment for
myself, just to get a few cents per download, that would be nice.
