I get the same error whatever page I load. The process is the same:
when I load the page AFTER I load maps.google.com, it works. This makes
me think that it might be some kind of cookie or maybe a session
parameter they set on their page. This is very strange.

Still, there are times when, even if I get a javascript error, the map
loads.
