AdWords API changes made to account via api not reflected on AdWords website

Hello,

I'm just starting to use the API to add campaigns, adgroups and
keywords. Yesterday I was testing my app. and I got successful
responses, including the IDs of the campaign, adgroups and keywords
that I added. However, the new items are not showing up when I view my
AdWords account on the web.

Any ideas?
