Actually you would be in a great deal of trouble. You can't ban ip
addresses, what if your guy is using an anonynous ip? Besides an ip
address is hardly property or unique to a person. You would be on very
very shaky ground legally. Just tell your group to killfile this guy
and he won't have any effect.
