Been there, done that. It is not the same concept though. The additional
material is added into the new, not the forwarded email. I work for
certain organizations that analyse email, those that contain phishing
schemes, viruses, etc. They require the entire email, headers included,
in order to properly analyse the specimen. These are automated processes.
Adding the headers manually to a new message is not a viable solution.
What would be acceptable is for Google to implement 'Forward as
Attachment" into its repertoire.

No idea. How about we see if Google would put up a survey on its home
page to find out?

Actually, there are many MUA's including Becky Internet Mail, my own
personal favorite, that employ this technology. The is an RFC, the
number escapes me now, that deals with this.
