I assume you are referring to the ProFTPds mailing list. I use Pure-FTPD
myself. If I am not mistaken, your config file is very similar to
Apache's. One of these days I will set up a test machine and give it a
run. Out of curiosity, what OS are you using?

Anyway, regarding this thread, I find that searching the mailing list's
archives vastly superior to storing the files locally. Actually, you are
not really storing them locally, but rather remotely. If you are going
to store them remotely anyway, why not let the originator store them for
you?
