I meant that since I also receive other mailings from other lists as
well, why not just keep all the mailings in one easily searchable
place so I don't have to go from site to site and mailing list to
mailing list to lookup some info, rather all I have to do is search my
gmail ;-) :-)

Now THAT makes sense.
It is like what I do; I have a label just for Wikipedia's daily articles, which means that for everyday that I receive one, I can just go onto Gmail and type something I want to know about in, and then I get relevant articles from Google Groups, PC Pro newsletters, KDE newsletters and Wikipedia. And it works!
