A file remaining in your ftp space normally indicates that it hasn't yet
been processed. The merchant centre interface does not update to relect
that upload until after the file has been removed from the ftp server.
You can never remove, rename or replace a file while it remains on the
ftp server.

People do occasionally report failed uploads resulting in a zero size
file. That is not a good thing, but it is normally removed
automatically within 24 hours.

Presumably the previous zero-sized files had been removed at that point.

No.

I don't know what to say, except try again. I automatically upload by
ftp 6 days a week, and it works very reliably. My uploads from Friday
night were removed and processed as normal.
