Tele Atlas Maps SUCK!

After spending considerable time in development for an application using
the Google Maps API, through the transition from NavTeq to Tele Atlas
map tiles, I can only say that we are likely going to have to deep six
our free public service due to the feedback from customers about the
quality (read lack of) of the Tele Atlas maps.

It's bad enough that road names are consistently 5-10 years old, but the
final straw was the extend of bad PR that we are getting because we
won't (read can't) change the names of all Indian Reservations to First
Nations Reservations. OUCH!

I can only assume that Google is NOT going to do anything about this,
despite the tremendous amount of feedback received concerning this
issue. So we are left with no alternative. Too Bad, So Sad.
