creating an icon

Hello-
I'm very new to all this and am working on a school project involving
google maps. I need to use 4 icons (a snake, a tree, a frog, and a
bird) on a map. I have no idea where to begin--where can I find icons
to use on our map?

I would appreciate any/all help that's out there.
