Re: Regarding Version 2 of the API

It would be nice if there were a relatively clean (un-obfuscated) js
api file that we could simply include, containing the supported API.
This might also include the internal symbols you mentioned.

Which internal symbols? I'd like to see the size negotiation routines
made visible, especially "resizeMapView", "panelContract", that sort of
thing. I'd also like to see the routines the register and unregister
event handlers.

It would be helpful if you might make the obsolete source code
available (unobfuscated) for those things you're leaving behind. To the
extent that you have the ability to list reported bugs associated with
it, that might help as well. I find such code very helpful in learning
how your developers think about this problem-space -- whether or not
the code changes or stays fixed.
