what does start.php do? is this the arror that you are looking for an
error? Is this where session_start(); is being called?

I suggest making a copy of your code to a file name like blah.phps.
phps is not a recognized extension and will be read as text so we can
see what your problem is. Of course if you have passwords and database
names etc. refer to them through variables so we can't see them for
your safety. Else provide the PHP code in a posting so that we might
see what is needed.
