Geocoding using UK census data

I recall that this came up some time ago, and am wondering if anyone has
any concrete details about exactly what is useful and what results
can be obtained by obtaining the CDs/DVDs from here:
http://www.statistics.gov.uk/census2001/pdfs/order_form.pdf

Anyone looked into it? What data is useful, and what isn't?
