[Gmail-Users] can't attach a 3.78 MB music mp3...s'up?

ok...I'm a computer novice and perhaps I'm making an obvious
mistake...but I'm trying to attach a song to a friend and it will not
send...it just keeps "thinking" for 30 mintues and then never actually
gets snet. what am I don't wrong and why? I saw that gmail doesn't
let you attach .exe stuff but I don't think that this is the case. I
also saw that you can't send over 10MBs but this is way under.

Help? Anybody?
