Kubuntu also has some very good support for more exotic hardware...
Debian darn near barfed on my laptop, but Kubuntu found every device
(except the SD Card reader, which doesn't have a Linux driver -
period) and was right happy with it all the way. I'm using Kubuntu on
my laptop right now...
