We've suggested this several times, from way in the beginning. Perhaps
they'll implement it, it's hard to say. I would think that something
like that will need to go through a longer test-phase...

But -- since you can use RSS-feed as sitemap files, you can just keep
the RSS feed, link that (for the other search engines and users) and
solve the problem for the meantime that way :-)
